General Importer of KAWASAKI in Poland, hereinafter referred to as the IMPORTER, hereby guarantees that each KAWASAKI vehicle sold by the Authorized Dealer on the territory of the Republic of Poland, under normal use and with proper maintenance, will be free of any material and assembly faults upon the following conditions:
WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
(a) KAWASAKI motorcycle must be prepared, serviced and supplied by the KAWASAKI Authorized Dealer.
(b) Warranty card must be filled, signed by the buyer and sent to the Importer within 48 hours since the motorcycle is released to the Customer (it is the task of the Authorized Dealer).
(c) Maintenance works recommended by the manufacturer must be performed by the maintenance service of the Authorized Dealer and confirmed in the warranty book.
(d) Vehicle must be in original condition; if any additional accessories are used, these must be approved by KAWASAKI.
General Importer of KAWASAKI in Poland grants the warranty for 2 years.
WARRANTY OBLIGATIONS OF THE GENERAL IMPORTER OF KAWASAKI IN POLAND:
If any defect occurs in the Kawasaki vehicle in the warranty period stated above, the Importer’s obligations are limited solely to repair of the defective part or replacement with a new one or an equivalent one without any cost incurred by the owner, as long as the Importer considers the defect to be a result of material or assembly faults occurred in the manufacturing process. The warranty repair shall be completed not later than 14 calendar days after the user delivers the motorcycle to an authorized service station. The above term is conditioned upon the availability of spare parts at the manufacturer’s and timely delivery of complete documentation required during the warranty repairs.
The warranty does not cover:
(a) Periodic inspections, including, without any limitations: oil change, adjustment of carburettor, ignition, breaker points gap, brakes, clutch, valve clearance, injectors, etc.
(b) Replacement of parts subject to normal wear and tear during use, including, without any limitations: all rubber parts, spark plugs, seals, light bulbs, lamp and headlight lenses, breaker points, lines, fuses, capacitors, tires, tubes, brake pads and jaws, battery, clutch disks, filters, maintenance fluids, tools, flexible hoses, brushes, etc.
(c) Vehicles operated in a manner not compliant with their designation, and in particular those used for participation in rallies, motocross or road races and other competitions (including the informal ones), and vehicles used in riding schools, for rental, etc.
(d) Post-accident vehicles, where the total sum of all accident repairs (costs of parts and workmanship) exceeded 30 % of the new vehicle value according to the price list valid on the day of last repair (taking into account the promotional prices) and based on original parts distributed by the Importer (regardless of the type of parts used for the given repair), as well as repairs and replacements of parts damaged in an accident or collision.
(e) Vehicles operated in a manner not compliant with their designation or in a negligent manner, incompliant with the valid regulations or this warranty, as well as the resulting damages.
(f) Vehicles with modifications or changes, which required uninstallation of the original parts or subsystems, including especially changes aimed to alter the engine operation parameters, visual design or vehicle traction, including the improvement of its performance.
(g) Any faults or damages resulting from installation of parts or accessories not approved by the Importer.
(h) Vehicles used in a manner not compliant with the user’s manual.
(i) Vehicles without technical inspections performed in a timely manner, as specified in the user’s manual.
(j) Motorcycles, which have been disassembled, assembled or repaired outside the network of KAWASAKI Authorized Service Stations.
(k) Motorcycles used for purposes different than the designated ones.
This warranty is the entire warranty granted by the Importer. No dealer or its agent or employee is authorized to expand the scope of the warranty, and no dealer or its agent or employee has the right to grant any other verbal warranty on behalf of the Importer. The Importer reserves the right to introduce changes and improvements in each motorcycle model, at any time, without the obligation to introduce the same changes in the previously sold motorcycles.
In order to obtain a warranty service, deliver a complete motorcycle to an Authorized Dealer on the territory of the Republic of Poland at the expense of the owner.
OWNER OBLIGATIONS IN THE WARRANTY PERIOD:
(a) Perform the technical inspections specified in the KAWASAKI Motorcycle User’s Manual in the Authorized Service Station and at own cost and keep the appropriate evidence the above mentioned inspections were performed.
(b) Provide the Authorized Service Station with a Warranty Book each time when a vehicle is delivered for the technical inspection or a warranty repair. If the Warranty Book is lost or destroyed, please contact the Authorized Dealer, from whom the motorcycle was bought, in order to obtain a new Warranty Book.
The Importer is not responsible for any loss of time, inconvenience or other indirect or accidental losses resulting from the inability to use the motorcycle, being the effect of any damage or fault covered by this warranty. In case of any doubts, when a failure occurs, and it is necessary to present or examine the material (element), the Importer may request to deliver the damaged part or order inspection of the part. In case of warranty, it is hereby reserved that after the claim is approved, the specific parts will become the possession of the Importer.
WARRANTY FOR SPARE PARTS
The Importer grants a 6-month warranty for the original KAWASAKI spare parts (with exclusion of seals and parts subject to normal wear and tear).
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF INSPECTIONS
1. PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION
To guarantee the safety and enjoyment from your motorcycle, the Importer or the Dealer performs a pre-delivery inspection.
2. PERIODIC TECHNICAL INSPECTION
To guarantee a long mileage of your motorcycle and to reduce its maintenance costs to minimum level, perform the technical inspections at the Importer’s Authorized Service Stations according to the PERIODIC INSPECTION SCHEDULE presented in the Motorcycle User’s Manual. The timely performance of periodic technical inspections is crucial for preventing troubles and accidents and for guaranteeing your safe and enjoyable use of the motorcycle. The fees for periodic inspections are a small fraction of possible expenses for repairs resulting from neglecting this obligation.
3. FOREIGN TRIPS
The warranty is valid solely in the territory of the Republic of Poland, where the motorcycle has been purchased.
4. OWNERSHIP CHANGE
If the motorcycle owner is changed within the warranty period, the warranty rights will be transferred to the new Owner for the time remaining until expiry of the warranty.
